This one here was the 2009 follow-up to People Project's debut record 3 years prior. While we did some of the recording in Mexico, we flipped it on this one recording the bulk of it in Canada, this time with one of my very best friends and mentors Jay Jaknunas (KOYUZ, Souljazz Orchestra) as the recording engineer.

The album maintains the spirit of collaboration as the first one, what really truly at the core of our identity as a group, namely with the participation of some very special guests: Yusa (Cuba, Lenine, etc), Drew Gonsalves (of Kobo Town), members of the Souljazz Orchestra, and Rommel.

We also included a cover, Manu Chao's 'Mr. Bobby' which was a mainstay of our live set at the time.

The tunes still capture the intimate nature of late night hangs and writing sessions and we opted to not shy away from stripping it back and taking things back to the roots of these magical encounters letting things be just as they came to us.

I am a producer wrkn with latin, afro, and electro influences, mainly via vocals, drum machines, guitars, synths, and and percussion.

I have a studio in downtown Ottawa, Canada where I work with a hybrid of studio equipment old and new: analog consoles, vintage keyboards, reel-to-reels but also modern day rec equip, synths, etc.
